About the event
The mission of the SEAONC Sustainable Design Committee (SDC) is to advocate for the role of the structural engineer in the sustainable design process and to emphasize the importance of integrating sustainable design principles into everyday practice.
To support this mission, the SDC advances the role of structural engineering in sustainability by contributing to regulatory and industry discussions, developing position papers, tracking emerging trends, and collaborating with partner organizations. We also provide education and outreach through monthly seminars, presentations, newsletter updates, and cross-committee initiatives to equip members with practical knowledge and strengthen SEAONC’s presence in the sustainable design community.
